Baars goes Sakhalin

Our partner Stevedores Yamal LLC were awarded for engineering and installation of temporary Beach Landing Facility on Far East of Russia, on Sakhalin Island. The BLF comprised of the key components like modular container pontoons with hinge, Ro-Ro ramps, ballastable barges of different deadweight. BAARS B.V. was approached by Stevedores Yamal LLC for container pontoons acquisition, special hinge engineering, pontoons strengthening modification and FEA analysis. We provided comprehensive scope of work for our client which satisfied in-depth inspections and engineering crosschecks of the main customer.
