they have now entered into a partnership with the municipality of Amsterdam. In the coming years they will be working on the renovation of many kilometers of quay walls with objects (such as bridges and other monumental objects). This work in the heart of Amsterdam requires a little extra creativity in its execution, because how does one get all that material and equipment across the water to the Herengracht, among other places? Together with the Beens Group, a flatbed monopontoon was constructed so that we could get to work on the assignment quickly.<\/p>\n<p>In the centre of Amsterdam there are many canals and the streets are often narrow, large machines such as an Abi rig and a Sennebogen crane can often not easily get through. Thanks to the lowloader mono pontoon, these machines could still easily be transported through the inner city of Amsterdam. The machines can now even pass under the low city bridges to get to work replacing the quay walls.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>The possibilities of the flatbed pontoon<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The cargo hold of the low loader mono pontoon contains a height-adjustable ramp, which makes it easy to load and unload a crane by driving in and out of it yourself.
