&#8216;Maas&#8217; and &#8216;Mersey&#8217; were christened. Water injection dredging is a technique developed by Van Oord. It is an efficient and environmentally friendly way to keep navigation channels, ports and rivers at the required depth.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Pleasant cooperation<\/strong><br \/>\nBaars Confloat was asked to supply pontoons for the festive occasion that served as landing jetties for the new vessels. Our team was also allowed to be present at the ceremony &#8211; a great opportunity to look behind the scenes of the client. Baars and Van Oord are currently working together on beautiful Dutch marine engineering projects on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.baarsbv.com\/en\/blog\/2021\/01\/31\/strenghtening-the-afsluitdijk-with-modular-pontoon-titaan\/\">Afsluitdijk<\/a> and the Averijhaven in IJmuiden.
