Splitbarges B60 and B61 in Amsterdam

Also Baars Charter contributes to the construction of the new North/South line in Amsterdam. The new metro line that connects the Southern axis of Amsterdam  with Amsterdam North is necessary in order to relieve the crowded trams and buses. Because the North/South line improves the accessibility of Amsterdam, the city can better develop itself and employment will grow.
Under the flag of contractor Van Oord on the ''IJ" two split barges with a content of  600 m3 sail to and from to resolve material submitted from the tunnel tubes in the old timber port. This material comes from the tunnel drilling and is mixed with water and by means of a press lead loaded aboard the splitbarges.
